"Bloom" is an art piece intricately fashioned from steel, embodying the essence of nature in its blooming state as its delicate stems extend towards the sun. Rooted in the beauty, form, and design found in nature, "Bloom" creates intricate shadows during the day and comes to life at night, illuminating in a mesmerizing spectrum of colors.

This mesmerizing artwork was created by artist Michael Christian. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He pursued his BFA at the University of Texas at Austin before an extensive apprenticeship for late American sculptor, Luis Jimenez. As he set out to create his own large-scale sculptures, Michael moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1995. He is known for building large, fun and playful interactive sculptures. His large-scale steel creations can be found in city centers, private collections and at events throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
