John Wesley, a modern American artist, is known for his distinctively graphic and flattened Pop paintings. His art explores themes of sexuality and erotica, presenting stylized and symmetrically composed images in distinctive pastel hues of pink and blue.

Though his paintings are reminiscent of his contemporary Tom Wesselmann. He was inspired by both the Minimalist and Surrealist movements. He was a self-taught artist who worked for several years as an illustrator.
