This is a FREE Artown event! It’s the swinging, jump-jiving stage show of the summer with the big band music of the nightclubbing in the 1930s at the world-famous Savoy Ballroom.

Experience the original “dirty dancing” of the “Lindy” and “Jitterbug,” swing’s greatest dance moves driven by the big, bold hot swing of Goodman, Basie, Webb and other jazz greats.

Don’t miss the masters of the craft of big band music relive the sultry scene where 4,000 Savoy Ballroom dancers each night were enraptured by this hot new music called swing.

General Admission lawn seating is free, and no reservation or ticket is required. Bring your cooler and picnic or visit the food trucks on site. No outside alcohol is allowed to be brought into the event yet will be available to purchase.
